Booking, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Booking Training

Online

Booking can be made for external training by clicking on the Buy Now button on the page where the training details are set out. You will then be directed to Pay Pal. Your payment and place will be confirmed by email at which point you will also receive a copy of our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Within two weeks of the training you will receive an email with all relevant details of the training day (s).

Phone

Bookings can be made by calling our office on 086 3292720. Your details will be taken including your name and contact details. Your payment and place will be confirmed by email at which point you will also receive a copy of our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Within two weeks of the training you will receive an email with all relevant details of the training day (s).

Email

Bookings can be made by emailing info@legalcapacity.ie. Inservice Training Customers are invited to have a training planning meeting in order to discuss training content, expectations, time, venue and cost. Once such matters are agreed a Letter of Intent will be forwarded by email. The invoice will also be sent at this point. You will be required to sign the terms and conditions and return the document by email.

Payment

Payment in full is required prior to training both in – service and external training. Payment terms are 7 days from date of invoice.

Methods of Payment

In – service Training:

  • EFT – bank account details are on your invoice
  • Cheques – payable to Legal Capacity Training

External Training:

  • EFT – bank account details are on your invoice
  • Cheques – payable to Legal Capacity Training
  • Pay Pal Button – found on the web page which describes each individual
    course.

Cancellation and Refund of in - service and external training, conferences, presentations and consultancy.

Notice of a training candidate’s intent to cancel a booking must be sent to
info@legalcapacity.ieand is subject to the following terms:

  • 100% return of the fee will be provided if notice of cancellation in writing is forwarded within 10 working days of the set date of the booking.
  • No refund will be provided if the participant does not notify in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the
    booking.
  • If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer the course fee paid against the cost of another course as long as you give sufficient notice (not less than 10 working days). This request must be forwarded by email and can be used over a period of time not exceeding 12 months from the original course registration.
    Attendees names can be changed without charge. Legal Capacity Training must be notified prior to the first day of the course when a substitution will occur.
  • Postponements will be accepted at no charge if notification is provided in writing at least 10 working days prior to the event.
  • Postponements received between 1 and 9 working days prior to the event will be charged 25% of the course fee.
    Thereafter, postponements will be charged at the full course fee. If a postponement occurs within 10 working days of the event and
    then the new date is subsequently cancelled at any stage, the full course fee will be charged and will be non-refundable.
  • Cancellation by Legal Capacity Training Legal Capacity Training reserves the right to cancel courses or change course location. In
    such an event full refund will be provided.

Recovery of Bad Debt

It is the policy of the company to recover all debts and associated court costs and legal fees incurred in so doing. We reserve the right to charge interest at 3% over bank base rate on overdue invoices.
