The Assisted Decision Making Act course was very educational and relevant to my area of work. I found it very interesting and I can apply it daily to my work. I have learnt new things such as the intention and purpose of the Act, the approaches to capacity and the the Guiding Principles. The Act empowers people regardless of their situation and circumstance, it empowers people to exercise their human rights, choices and autonomy.
