We also provide consultancy support in the development of a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The purpose of the QEP is to develop a clear plan of action for the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act 2015 within residential and day service facilities. The plan supports the assessment of a designated centre against equality and human rights indicators. The plan acts as a tool to perform a baseline assessment which identifies the human rights standards which are in place and those which require implementation, it furthermore identifies barriers which may exist in the operation of the actions required.
